Vitamins and minerals.

  • High dose of vitamins, minerals and trace elements
  • With amino acid chelated minerals for better absorption
  • Perfectly balanced composition for athletes

Vitamins and minerals play a huge variety of roles in the body and it is therefore essential that they are included in the diet. Athletes in particular may have an increased need for vitamins and minerals due to the demands of intense exercise.

Participation in intense physical activity places huge demands on an athlete. Taking a multivitamin such as the Etixx Multimax alongside training and competition could be beneficial.

Intense exercise has been found to have immunosuppressive effects meaning that athletes may have an increased likelihood of experiencing inpaired health conditions. The Etixx Multimax contains vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin D which all contribute to normal immune function.Vitamin D also contributes to the normal maintenance of bones and muscles.

It is also important that athletes ensure they are not deficient in any key minerals. For example, ironis a key mineral which helps in the transport of oxygen in the body and therefore deficiencies in athletes may be detrimental for performance. The Etixx Multimax contains iron alongside a whole range of minerals which may be a support during performance. This includes:

  • Magnesium: plays an important role in energy metabolism and helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue
  • Zinc: plays a role in energy metabolism
  • Calcium: contributes to the maintenance of normal bones

The Etixx Multimax also contains Vitamin B complex, Vitamin E, Folic acid, calcium, selenium, potassium, copper, molybdenum and iodine.

All the minerals in Etixx Multimax are amino acid chelated. This means they are protected by an amino acid coat and this can enhance absorption. The Etixx Multimax should be included into a healthy and balanced diet and not used as a replacement for dietary vitamin and mineral intake.

Who can benefit from Multimax?

Athletes may have an increased need for vitamins and minerals and therefore all athletes could benefit from taking extra vitamins and minerals. It may be of particular benefit during times of increased stress such as during the winter months or during heavy training blocks. It can be taken by all as a daily addition to vitamin and mineral intake.
