Bram Moerman

Bram Moerman

Hi, I am a Ghent alumni Sports Management at UGent, and now work as CEO of Padel Kiosk. Besides padel trainer, animator and board (Kazou and Route du Soleil) and volunteer at Red Cross-Ghent, I am above all an avid sportsman. After competitive swimming and football, I set my sights on padel and extreme challenges: Gran Fondo Marmottes Alpes, 100km running, Marathon des Sables, swimming the Dover-Calais Canal, etc.

My disciplines

  • Padel
  • Running

Number of hours’ training per week

15-20 hours

"Almost doesn't win prizes!"

My favourite Etixx products

During long training sessions, I mainly use the Isotonic thirst-quencher, since eating large amounts is not easy while running. After a training session, I use the Recovery Shake (kiwi/raspberry), and after an intensive/interval training/long training session (>2.5 hours) the Recovery Shake PRO LINE (I can recommend banana).

For a new dose of strength, I eat the delicious, energy-rich and fast-digesting Sport Bar Energy Marzipan. What else do you want?

My greatest sporting achievements

  • 70km run in 6h58
  • 2nd at the Belgian National Swimming Championships

My personal records

  • 5km: 00:19:48
  • 10km: 00:49:52
  • 21km: 01:55:00
  • 70km: 6:58:00

I have been passionate about endurance sports for more than 15 years. Together with Noury Vanmanshoven, I founded Triathlon Team 4P. Apart from coaching athletes, I am still active myself. Mainly on the long distance, Ironman and 70.3 Ironman.

Running, Cycling and fitness

I am a happy Brabant girl, who swapped going to the pub for running. After I beat breast cancer in 2011, I made a change of direction. It seems it was a good decision as I’m still very passionate about it. Hopefully, there will be many more great times over the various distances; I actually enjoy all distances. I am now back on the road after an injury. I am very happy that Etixx has continued to believe in me, and with their products I am convinced that there are still many good things ahead in terms of running. I am very grateful for this wonderful support, it helps me to recover faster and be able to train harder so I can reach my goals.
